Position:
The available position is for "Apprentice," where selected candidates will get hands-on training in various disciplines within OPaL.
Stipend:
During the training period, apprentices will receive a stipend of Rs. 8,050/- per month as per the Apprentice Act, 1961, and Apprentice Rules 1992 (with amendments, if any). This stipend will support you during your learning journey.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the Apprentice Program, you must meet the following criteria:
| 1. Essential Qualification: | You should have completed the required qualification for your specific discipline from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) affiliated with NCVT or GCVT. The qualification must be a full-time, regular course, and you should have acquired it in 2020 or later. |
| 2. Minimum Marks: | You need to have scored at least 60% marks in your essential qualification. |
| 3. Distance Learning or Part-Time Mode: | Qualifications obtained through distance learning, part-time mode, or correspondence will not be accepted. |
| 4. Previous Apprenticeship: | If you have already undergone any apprenticeship or are currently pursuing one in any organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, you are not eligible. |
| 5. Age Limit: | Your age should be between 18 and 21 years as of 01.04.2023, with your birthdate falling between 01/04/2002 and 01/04/2005. |
Selection Process:
The selection process involves a written test and a personal interview. Based on your performance in these assessments, you will be offered the apprenticeship in order of merit.
Reservation for Ambetha and Suva Villages:
OPaL is reserving 20% of the total apprentice seats for applicants from Ambetha and Suva villages of Vagra Taluka. If more applications are received than available seats, selection will be based on merit. In case of insufficient applications from these villages, the vacant reserved seats will be allotted to other eligible candidates based on merit.
