Junior Technical Superintendent (Group B) Tier -1 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Examination Pattern

1. The three (3) hour examination will comprise of multiple choice questions with one correct answer.
2. One (1) mark will be awarded for each correct answer and minus one by three (-1/3) mark for each incorrect answer.
3. The unanswered questions will not attract negative marks.
4. Question paper will have two sections namely General Section and Post Related General Awareness & Aptitude Section.

General Section (50 Marks)

Syllabus

• English Language and Comprehension: English Grammar, Sentence Correction and Completion, Paragraph Summary, Reading Comprehension & Inferences, Verbal Analogies & Critical Reasoning.
• Mathematics & Numerical Ability: Arithmetic - up to 10th Standard. Numerical Computation, Numerical Reasoning, Data Reasoning and Data Interpretation.
• General Awareness and Current Affairs: Current Affairs, Government Schemes, Economics, Geography, Indian History, Indian Polity, Indian Constitution - up to 10th Standard.
• Logical Reasoning: Number/Alphabet Series, Reasoning Analogies, Relations, Calendars, Cause and Effect, Clocks, Coding-Decoding, Directions, Connectives.
• Computer Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office, Internet, and email system.

Post Related General Awareness & Aptitude Section (50 Marks)

Syllabus

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science - up to 12th Standard.

Junior Technical Superintendent (Group B) Tier -2 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Max Marks: 50

Duration: 1 hour

Computer Based Test:

1. Typing skill test (English) to test typing efficiency and quality. (10 Marks)
2. Test Knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point (15 Marks)
3. Lab Development and maintenance (15 Marks)
4. Equipment and experiments for Engineering and Science Labs (10 Marks)
